Privacy Policy
01Introduction
Quickco ("Quickco", "we", "us" or "our") operates a quick-commerce platform that lets people order products from local stores and vendors and have them delivered in minutes. The platform is made up of two mobile apps:
- The Quickco Consumer app — for customers who place and receive orders.
- The Quickco Merchant app — for store owners and staff who accept and fulfil those orders.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. Because the two apps collect different information, this policy is split into a section for each — please read Part 1 if you use the Consumer app and Part 2 if you use the Merchant app. By creating an account or using either app, you agree to the practices described here.
Part 1
Quickco Consumer App
This part applies to the Quickco Consumer app, which you use to browse stores and place orders for delivery.
02Information we collect
Information you provide to us
- Account information — your name and mobile phone number, which you verify with a one-time password (OTP), and your email address.
- Delivery addresses — the addresses you save to receive orders, including building, floor and flat details, area, a receiver name, and a label such as Home, Work or a custom name.
- Order information — the items in your cart, your order history, and any delivery notes or preferences you provide.
- Communications — information you share when you contact our support team or rate an order.
Information we collect automatically
- Location information — with your permission, your device's precise or approximate location, so we can show stores that deliver to you, set your delivery point, and help delivery partners reach you. See "Location data" below.
Payment information
When you pay for an order, your payment is processed by our payment gateway, Razorpay. To set up your payment, we share your name, email and phone number with Razorpay so it can prefill checkout. We receive confirmation of your transaction — such as the amount, status and a transaction reference — but we do not collect or store your full UPI credentials, card numbers or banking passwords.
03How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and verify you by OTP.
- Show stores and products available at your location and personalise what you see.
- Process, fulfil and deliver your orders, and keep you updated on their status in real time.
- Enable delivery partners to pick up and deliver your order, including the details needed to reach you.
- Process payments, issue refunds and maintain transaction records.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Send you service messages about your orders, such as order and delivery updates.
- Detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, security and technical issues.
- Improve and develop the Service and comply with our legal obligations.
05Location data
The Quickco Consumer app uses your location to detect your delivery area, show stores and products that can reach you, estimate delivery times, set and confirm your delivery point on the map, and help delivery partners navigate to you.
You can grant or revoke location access at any time in your device settings. Without it, core features such as finding nearby stores and delivering to you may not work.
07Your rights & account deletion
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
- Correct or update information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Withdraw consent you have given — for example, for location — without affecting processing already carried out.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete account), or by emailing us at steven@quickco.in. You can also edit your profile and saved addresses directly in the app. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
08Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and secure infrastructure — to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where required by law.
09Data retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information for longer where necessary to comply with legal, tax or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
10Children's privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Part 2
Quickco Merchant App
This part applies to the Quickco Merchant app, which store owners and their staff use to accept and fulfil customer orders.
11Information we collect
Information you provide to us
- Account information — your name and mobile phone number, which you verify with a one-time password (OTP), and your email address.
- Authentication tokens — a secure sign-in token, stored as an HttpOnly cookie, that keeps you logged in.
- Order & fulfilment data — the orders routed to your store, including items and quantities, your earnings and payment status, and the name of the delivery executive assigned to collect an order (shown so you know who is picking it up).
On your device
Your sign-in state and profile are kept in storage on your own device so the app works smoothly, and they are cleared when you log out.
What the Merchant app does not collect
To keep data to a minimum, the Merchant app does not collect your location, does not let you enter or store delivery addresses, and does not collect device identifiers. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising or tracking technologies in the Merchant app.
12Customer data merchants handle
To fulfil an order, your store receives personal information that belongs to the customer — namely the order contents, the delivery address, and the receiver's name and contact number. You receive this information solely so you can prepare and hand over the order, and you must keep it confidential, use it only for that purpose, and protect it in line with this policy and applicable law.
13How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your merchant account and verify you by OTP.
- Route incoming orders to your store and let you accept, prepare and fulfil them.
- Calculate and settle your earnings and maintain transaction records.
- Send you service messages about your orders, such as new-order and status updates.
- Provide support and respond to your requests.
- Detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, security and technical issues.
- Improve and develop the Service and comply with our legal obligations.
15Payment information
Payments and earnings are handled through our payment gateway, Razorpay. We receive transaction details such as amount and status, but we do not collect or store your full UPI credentials, card numbers or banking passwords.
16Your rights & account deletion
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
To request access, correction or deletion of your merchant account and associated personal data, email us at steven@quickco.in. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
17Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and secure infrastructure — to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where required by law.
18Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by other means and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
